Your move! It’s time to duel! The Dueler's Guild is a group for players of Collectible Card Games (CCG's) to learn, play, and socialize. We currently support Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering, but players of all games are welcome to attend. There are no fees and membership is open to both residents and non-residents. All players age 9 and up are welcome to join us. Stop by for open play, a mini tournament, snacks, and a good time!

Parents may discuss their child’s needs with the tutors prior to the study session. Parents of children ages eight and under must remain in the Library. Students must bring any textbooks, calculators, and other materials that they need to complete their assignments. No registration necessary.     Responding to requests from the community the Bloomingdale Library is offering a specially designed version of our basic computing course. This class will be intended to provide instruction in computer basics to the visually impaired. Computer concepts and the use of adaptive technology will be discussed. A $10.00 refundable deposit per class is required upon registration to hold your space for the class unless otherwise noted. A 24 hour cancellation notice (prior to the start of the class) is required in order to receive a refund of the $10.00 deposit.

    In this class students will learn how to use Microsoft Word to create sharp, easily read and understood résumés. They will also learn how to create accounts on and perform searches with job finding sites online like Hotjobs and Monster. This course is about the technical skills required to create the résumés, not about proper style, content, or design. The instructor cannot judge whether or not a student’s résumé looks good, he can only show them how to make whatever changes they want. (Having taken “Introduction to Microsoft Word” is helpful but not necessary.)

The Final session of Understanding Your Computer will cover more advanced hardware topics.
