Let's us know your thoughts on the selection of teen materials and your ideas for teen programs. You can also help to promote and raise funds for the library.Pizza will be served. Take the challenge! In this fictional scenario, your team will be asked to use a rocket propulsion system to launch and deliver a payload of food to an island that has been hit by a disaster. The situation is urgent. You and team do not have much time to create a rocket and successfully launch it with its payload to save the day. Become a scientist  and explore how aerospace engineering can be used to solve real world challenges. Each team will launch its rocket and prizes will be awarded to the team which has its rocket go the farthest, highest and the most on target. This activity is open to those in grades 6 to 12.  This program is made possible through the use of a 4-H kit from the URI College of Environmental Sciences Please register for this program as space is limited to 12 participants.

3D Printer Workshop @ Auburn. 6 grade+.  This is the second workshop of a three-part, 3D printing series. This intermediate level workshop will introduces you to Tinkercad, an easy-to-use 3D CAD design tool that quickly turns your idea into a CAD model for a 3D printer. Using Tinkercad, you will create a simple design that the 3D printer will process.

3D Printer Workshop @ Auburn.  6 grade + This is the final workshop in the 3D printing series. This advanced level workshop goes beyond the basics. You will use your knowledge of Tinkercad and your creativity to dream up your own, original creation. You will design the item and print it out using the 3D printer.

Players of all skill levels are welcome to drop-in to play the battle arena game League of Legends, an online game that allows players to focus on strategy and teamwork as they attempt to capture their opponents “nexus” or base.This program is open to those in grades 8 to 12.

Teens and their families are invited to come play in an historical arcade of games old and new: board games, card games, old console games, and new gaming systems. Play your way to the big screen, where the Xbox 360 will be hooked up to the projector. Registration is not required. Younger children are welcome to attend with an older sibling or adult, but most games are intended for grades 2 & up.
