Children in grades 4+ are invited to learn about Animal Advocates, people who work tirelessly to help those who cannot speak for themselves. Meet Mark Stoutzenberger, owner/operator of Outbound Hounds, and co-founder of Handsome Dan's Rescue. Mark will bring a few of his dogs and tell us about his important work with animals, including training and helping those neglected and/or abused.
Mutt-i-grees in the Library is an exciting initiative that fosters social and emotional development and builds on children's affinity for Mutt-i-grees or shelter animals.
