This session of Reading in the Hall marks its 10th anniversary. What better way to celebrate than by revisiting the first book we ever discussed, Bel Canto by Ann Patchett. "In South America, at the home of the country's vice president, a lavish birthday party is being held in honor of a powerful Japanese businessman. It is a perfect evening -- until a band of gun-wielding terrorists breaks in and takes the entire party hostage. But what begins as a panicked, life-threatening scenario slowly evolves into something quite different." This program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Please call, email or visit the library to reserve your copy of the book. William Hall Library is handicapped accessible.
