An interactive half hour program for children ages one through two years of age and their adult caregiver. Rhymes and repetition are fundamental to a baby's speech and language devleopment. Sharing simple rhymes and singing songs help to develop listening and concentration skills. This five week session begins Tuesday, November 18th and runs through Tuesday, December 16th. Registration is required and begins Tuesday, September 2nd.

Each month, October through February, we'll discuss four books from this year's list.  Read one, or more, or read all four.    Wednesday, December 3 is "Family Drama".  We'll discuss Athlete vs. Mathlete (W. Mack), Odessa Again (Dana Reinhardt), The Mighty Miss Malone (Christopher Paul Curtis) and The Blessing Cup (Patricia Polacco)Drop by the Children's Services desk for a list of the December and January titles, and to request any of the titles.  Registration begins on Tuesday, September 2.

Everyone is invited to enjoy a concert with Zefiro Vocal Ensemble as part of the Fall Concert Series.  Zefiro is a Boston- and Providence-based ensemble of seven singers devoted to performing vocal music of the 14th-21st centuries. Founded as a collaboration, this award-winning group takes inspiration from specialist groups from around the world such as the Tallis Scholars, the Sixteen, and the Taverner Consort. This program is free and open to the public.  William Hall Library is handicapped accessible.

A motivated, generous band of volunteer sewists organized to sew for local and global charitable organizations. To date, we have made contributions to Little Dresses for Africa, Britches for Boys, RI Foster Kids and Children, the RI Women's Center Shelter and Hasbro Children's Hospital among others. We are currently looking for like-minded individuals in our community to join our cause. Beware, you may just have too much fun!

The Projects:  All projects are designed for nearly any level of sewing experience. If you have many years to just a beginning knowledge and skill. We work together on the same projects in order to help one another.

To Bring:  Sewing machine, sewing tools, a work light (if you have/need one), fabric and supplies appropriate for each project of the month, a willing spirit,looking for a fun time with like-minded sewists.

What is supplied:  Sewing area, Ironing station, Patterns for the monthly projects.

What you need to do to join in the projects: Sign up at the Wm. Hall Library desk by leaving your name, email and phone number. I will get in touch with you by email to provide information on the projects digitally.

When do we meet:  We meet once per month on Monday night from 6:00 to 8:30 pm in the Program Room of the Wm. Hall Library beginning in November.

This program is open to the public and the William Hall Library is handicapped accessible.

A motivated, generous band of volunteer sewists organized to sew for local and global charitable organizations. To date, we have made contributions to Little Dresses for Africa, Britches for Boys, RI Foster Kids and Children, the RI Women's Center Shelter and Hasbro Children's Hospital among others. We are currently looking for like-minded individuals in our community to join our cause. Beware, you may just have too much fun!

The Projects:  All projects are designed for nearly any level of sewing experience. If you have many years to just a beginning knowledge and skill. We work together on the same projects in order to help one another.

To Bring:  Sewing machine, sewing tools, a work light (if you have/need one), fabric and supplies appropriate for each project of the month, a willing spirit,looking for a fun time with like-minded sewists.

What is supplied:  Sewing area, Ironing station, Patterns for the monthly projects.

What you need to do to join in the projects: Sign up at the Wm. Hall Library desk by leaving your name, email and phone number. I will get in touch with you by email to provide information on the projects digitally.

When do we meet:  We meet once per month on Monday night from 6:00 to 8:30 pm in the Program Room of the Wm. Hall Library beginning in November.

A motivated, generous band of volunteer sewists organized to sew for local and global charitable organizations. To date, we have made contributions to Little Dresses for Africa, Britches for Boys, RI Foster Kids and Children, the RI Women's Center Shelter and Hasbro Children's Hospital among others. We are currently looking for like-minded individuals in our community to join our cause. Beware, you may just have too much fun!

The Projects:  All projects are designed for nearly any level of sewing experience. If you have many years to just a beginning knowledge and skill. We work together on the same projects in order to help one another.

To Bring:  Sewing machine, sewing tools, a work light (if you have/need one), fabric and supplies appropriate for each project of the month, a willing spirit,looking for a fun time with like-minded sewists.

What is supplied:  Sewing area, Ironing station, Patterns for the monthly projects.

What you need to do to join in the projects: Sign up at the Wm. Hall Library desk by leaving your name, email and phone number. I will get in touch with you by email to provide information on the projects digitally.

When do we meet:  We meet once per month on Monday night from 6:00 to 8:30 pm in the Program Room of the Wm. Hall Library beginning in November.

This program is open to the public and the William Hall Library is handicapped accessible.
