misc_none WaterWalk Fundraiser @ All Locations Remind Me about this Event   Tell a Friend
    Contact: Katy Dorchies   401-943-9080   katydorchies@cranstonlibrary.org

Leave your mark on your library! Purchase a sidewalk square for $25 and we'll create a special design just for you. Choose from one of three library-themed stencils, and create your own short message. Library volunteers will paint your message on the front walkways at the Central Library, the Oak Lawn Branch, and the Auburn Branch, using a superhydrophobic (water repellent) solution. Wait for a rainy day and see how it's brightened by planning a visit to the library to find your square! Request forms available at: cranstonlibrary.org/waterwalk-fundraiser. All funds raised go to the Cranston Public Library Association and support a variety of library programs, including the summer reading program.

The situation is urgent. You and team do not have much time to create a rocket and successfully launch it with its payload to save the day. Become a scientist  and explore how aerospace engineering can be used to solve real world challenges. Each team will launch its rocket and prizes will be awarded to the team which has its rocket go the farthest, highest and the most on target. His selection reverberates across a divided, traumatized country and, more intimately, through individual lives.  A story of clashing convictions and emotions, and a cunning satire of political ideals, The Submission is a resonant novel for our times."  Please contact the library to reserve your copy of the book.
