Wrapped books will be available from June 29th through August 14th during hours of opening at each branch.The reading you do for Unmask a Book may be used to fulfill the Summer Reading Challenge.Open to grades 6-12.

Kids ages five to ten are invited to join theater educator Gladys Cole for classes where participants will learn about acting, set design, costumes and teamwork.  This five week program ends with a performance for kids, by kids!   Please register by contacting the library. Try to make it go higher, farther, & hit a target! Learn engineering concepts, develop math skills, learn about nutrition and help solve a relevant, global issue. Vegetable Gardening for Beginners: the late gardening season.  We'll cover: fall and early winter planting; orientation to seed saving; cover crops; garden waste and compost options. This class, led by two experienced local gardeners (Annemarie Bruun and Bill Baddeley), meets once each quarter to prepare for the garden tasks of the coming three months.  No previous gardening experience is necessary.  We cover both container and in-the-earth gardens.  We'll also cover related matters including composting.
