Beginner Series for iPad, Part 4: The App Store & More
Using the App Store & finding library resources.
Participants must attend for all 4 parts of the series. Participants who signed up for the first class are automatically registered for all four classes (June 4, 11, 18, and 25). For Lemont Library cardholders only. Please bring your iPad and Apple ID & password to the class.

Desktop Computer Basics

Beginner Series for PC - Class 1
In this class, patrons will be given a brief overview of the desktop PC and keyboard, and how to use a mouse. The Solitaire card game and other online tutorials will be used to reinforce keyboarding and mouse skills. We will also demonstrate how to do cut/copy and paste.
A reservation can be made online, by phone, or in person at the Reference Desk. Free for Lemont Library cardholders. $10 fee per class for non-cardholders.

Beginner's Series for PC - Class 2
Learn how to navigate the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system including the task bar, multi-task, create folders and organize files, use the recycle bin, create a desktop shortcut. We will briefly explain some Windows accessories and how to access the control panel.
