Comics Workshop
|
|
| |
|
REGISTRATION CLOSED, WORKSHOP FULL.
Comics
Registration Required.
Attendance to all sessions highly recommended.
The comic workshop will provide children ages 7-11 with skills necessary to write and draw their own comic book. During most of the sessions, children will learn about different aspects of comic book making and will be working on creating their own comic books. A comic book writer will join us for one of the sessions to provide guidance on how to format stories into comic book scripts. At the end of the program the library will publish a zine anthology of all of the comics created, so each child can take a collection of the workshop's comics home.
Children only please, parents can wait in the library! Parents of children under 9 must remain in the library.
