Decorate a pot in the rich tropical colors and tribal designs of India!

Explore pottery motifs dating back to the very beginnings of civilization in the Indus Valley and other regions ... as you design your own pots! Plus, learn about spices used in Indian cooking while you plant seeds in your pot and watch them grow!

At this orientation you will gain a brief overview of your summer duties and you will also choose your summer volunteer schedule.

(An adult caregiver or parent must initial to give permission for the schedule the student has chosen.)

Do you want a pet you can take to school? A pet your parents will let you have? Try a rock!

The Library will provide the necessary supplies and care instructions for a pet rock. All you need to supply is the loving attention such a wonderful new pet needs.

Pick up a kit at the Youth Reference Desk. Kits are available throughout the month during regular library hours, while supplies last.

Teens must come in person to receive a kit.
