What is Buzz Pop??
It's whatever you make it. We’ll talk about books you’re reading, books you shouldn’t miss, the music on your iPod, and television shows & movies you love (or love to hate!)… and eating snacks!
Join our special guest authors:
~ Kate Brian - the "Shadowlands" trilogy, and the "Private" and "Privilege" series,
~ Jen Calonita - the "Belles" and "Secrets of My Hollywood Life" series, and
~ Elizabeth Eulberg - Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality, Take a Bow, Prom & Prejudice, and The Lonely Hearts Club.
You can ask them about their books, what they like to read & watch, and the music they listen to. You can tell your friends that you hung out with not one, but three best-selling authors! Better yet, bring your friends!
For ages 12-18
Registration is suggested (for snack buying purposes!) and begins Monday, July 29th.

It's Friday night & the library is closed, so where will we show a movie?
Outside, on the back of the building, of course - kind of like a drive-in without cars!
First, we'll screen the original short film created during last month's two-part Film Workshop. Then, we'll raffle off some prizes & you can grab a snack. Finally, we'll show the movie. Which movie are we screening? Well, that's up to you. You can vote all summer long in the library. Here are the candidates:
~ The Hunger Games
~ The Avengers
~ It's Kind of a Funny Story
~ The Hobbit
~ Write-in your choice! Come into the library for more information.
You will need to register & submit a signed permission form (link below) to Carolyn Aversano. Please bring a blanket & bug spray!
If it rains tonight, we'll move the movie inside.
For ages 14-18
Registration is required and begins Monday, July 29th.

Magic Tree House Book Club for ages 5-9
|
|
| |
|
At each program we’ll read part of a Magic Tree House Book, and then we’ll explore its’ companion research guide.
The eighth book in the series is Sunset of the Sabertooth. Join us in enjoying this imaginative series by Mary Pope Osborne. You don’t have to read the book before you come, but if you do, that's fine. During the program I’ll read a portion of the book to you, and then we'll explore the research guide for that book. We’ll end with a craft.
Registration is required and begins on Monday, June 10. The book club will take place once a month on a Monday, from 4:00-5:00 pm. Hope to see you there!
