Beginning the week of September 8, 2014, Family Story Time will be presented every Monday at 11:00 am at the Manomet Branch Library, and every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library.  This half-hour program gives parents, caregivers, and children ages 6 and under the opportunity to enjoy books, songs, rhymes, and movement activities together while helping to develop important early literacy skills.

Research shows that children get ready to read years before they start school.  There are six pre-reading areas of knowledge which children must develop:  letter knowledge, phonological awareness, vocabulary, narrative skills, print awareness, and print motivation.  Each week during Family Story Time, we pick one of the six pre-reading skills and put together a series of stories, music, and activities designed to reinforce these particular skills. We will also give parents ideas for how to work on these skills at home. This program is free and no registration is required.

Pilgrim Coalition would like to use the Otto Fehlow Room on Dec. 10th for a forum on Dry Cask Storage at the Plgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth. We would like to educate people on how and why the spent fuel assemblies will be moving from the wet spent fuel pool to dry cask storage. It will consist of a 4 to 5 person panel including a presentation with visual slides,  followed by a question and answer session.

We would like to reserve the room from 6pm-9pm. We are a non-profit group and have used the Otto Fehlow room previously.

Thank you for your consideration.

Beginning the week of January 12, 2015, Family Story Time will be presented every Monday at 11:00 am at the Manomet Branch Library, and every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library.

Beginning the week of January 12, 2015, Family Story Time will be presented every Monday at 11:00 am at the Manomet Branch Library, and every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library.

Beginning the week of January 12, 2015, Family Story Time will be presented every Monday at 11:00 am at the Manomet Branch Library, and every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library.

Beginning the week of January 12, 2015, Family Story Time will be presented every Monday at 11:00 am at the Manomet Branch Library, and every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library.

Beginning the week of January 12, 2015, Family Story Time will be presented every Monday at 11:00 am at the Manomet Branch Library, and every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library.

Beginning the week of January 12, 2015, Family Story Time will be presented every Monday at 11:00 am at the Manomet Branch Library, and every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library.
