Stress Busters! presented by Families First at Community Mental Health

Tuesday January 16, 2024

   Welcome to Stress Busters!

Everyone has big feelings at times. Children and adolescents who learn to manage those feelings at an early age have a big advantage in life. It’s an important skill for growing minds! Families Forward at Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties Stress Busters program offers fun and engaging group activities to help youth of all ages learn skills to help manage life stress, improve social skills, and have fun doing it! New participants are always welcome – come join us! No registration necessary

Ages 3-6 & caregivers: Meets Tuesdays at 10 am at the library. Children learn easy activities to feel better when they have big feelings; mindful attention to movement and breathing, using artwork to express feelings, and how laughter helps us feel better.

Ages 7-10 & 11-14: Stress! Learn the sources, impact and how to manage stress. Practice valuable social skills: respecting personal space, listening, effective communications, and more. For meeting times and information, contact Jody Nelson at http://[email protected] or call 517-346-8094.
