Animal Presentation from New England Wildlife Centers (All Ages)

One of the best ways for students of all ages is to experience the natural world is to come face to face with some of the most interesting animals who live in the woods, rivers, and fields near our homes. An animal presentation from New England Wildlife Centers does just that, and offers an experience to those who would like to learn more about how wild animals are cared for when sick, orphaned or injured in Massachusetts. We will discuss the ways we care for these animals in our wildlife hospital, some of the most common issues they face when interacting with humans and some of the ways we can better care for them in our daily lives.

Our NEWC animal presentation will bring a Red-tailed hawk, Sulcata Tortoise, Ball Python, Bearded Dragons, an assortment of box turtles and a few other animals along for an interactive experience with the audience. Given a small enough group, most of these animals are able to be touched and participants will get an up-close look at them.

Weather permitting this is an outdoor event! Please bring chairs or blankets to enjoy the show!
